Jimmy Connors has been working in the Peninusla restaurant community for over 20 years. Jimmy's experience has been gathered at such diverse establishments as the Caribbean Cajun Cafe, Brandon's,Yanks, Piatti's and as the opening Chef of Gordon Biersch in San Jose.

As a consultant Jimmy was instrumental in formulating the first Country Gourmet entree menu in 1989 with many of the dishes remaining as menu favorites today. After a four year leave Jimmy rejoined the Country Gourmet as Chef, where his flair for creating bold dishes has become the CG standard.

Jimmy was the first in the Santa Clara Valley to bring in Bill Niman's free-range beef and pork products. Jimmy's eclectic style exemplifies the use of Latin, Pacific Rim and Mediterranean flavors with seasonal, local and fresh ingredients.
